1. Introduction

Welcome to Chasing Miles Travel (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website [chasingmilestravel.com], products, and services. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to these terms in compliance with Canadian laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (Alberta) and the Competition Act (Canada).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Products & Services

Chasing Miles Travel offers the following digital and service-based products:
✔ Notion Templates (Digital Download)
✔ PDF Guides & Planners (Digital Download)
✔ Concierge Services & Personalized Add-On Features)**

3. Payment, Pricing & Off-Site Transactions

3.1 Payment Methods

  • All payments for Notion templates, PDFs, and concierge services must be processed securely through Squarespace Payments, Stripe, or PayPal unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • If an off-site payment method (such as direct bank transfer, e-Transfer, or third-party invoicing) is used, full payment must be received before work begins.

3.2 Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.

  • Discounts and promotional offers for concierge services and add-ons apply only within the validity period stated at the time of purchase.

  • Price quotes for custom services are valid for 30 days before they expire. Pricing will not change once the service has begun unless add on features or other services are added to the package after initial agreement. The Consumer will receive any add on quotes and costs for approval prior to payment being taken. Add on prices vary by service and can be found on the Concierge Packages page.

3.3 Off-Site Payment Liability

  • Chasing Miles Travel is not responsible for payment processing delays caused by banks, third-party providers, or incorrect payment details.

  • If payment is not received within 5 days of an agreed-upon off-site invoice, that service will be canceled, and the service will not proceed. If this applies to an add on service, this will not cancel the entire Concierge Service, only the add on service.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

4.1 Digital Products (PDFs & Notion Templates) – Non-Refundable

  • All digital products, including Notion templates and PDFs, are final sale and non-refundable.

  • Due to the nature of digital downloads, we cannot issue refunds once a purchase has been completed.

  • If you experience technical difficulties accessing your files, please contact us, and we will assist you.

4.2 Concierge Services (Including Custom Notion Templates, Digital Itineraries &/or Add-On Features) – Limited Refunds

  • Refunds for concierge services will be provided ONLY if the service has not yet begun.

  • A confirmation email will be sent when we start creating your custom Notion template or add-on feature.

  • Once the creation process has started, no refunds will be issued.

  • No refunds will be provided for Add-On services, or items listed for purchase above the standard base quotes of the Concierge service.

💡 Key Rule: You may cancel at any point during the information gathering stage. If you cancel before receiving the confirmation email, you are eligible for a full refund. If you cancel after the confirmation email is sent, no refund will be provided, including any add on features.

5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

  • All Notion templates, PDFs, and digital content provided by Chasing Miles Travel are protected under copyright law.

  • You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the purchased templates.

  • You may not resell, distribute, share, or modify the templates for commercial use without explicit permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • We make every effort to ensure that our templates and services function as described. However, we do not guarantee that they will meet every user's specific needs.

  • We are not responsible for any business losses, indirect damages, or unintended outcomes from using our templates or services.

  • All travel planning and decisions made using our templates are at your own discretion and we are not liable for any issues or mishaps that may occur during your travels.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We do not store sensitive payment details—all transactions are processed securely via Squarespace Payments, Stripe, and PayPal.

  • We collect and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.

  • Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation, or banking dispute centres. If no resolution is reached, disputes will be settled in the courts of Alberta, Canada.
